I am extremely proud to be the student of Computer Science department, Syamaprasad College. The guidance and support given by each of our subject teacher is admirable. For me my college is a place where we can involve ourselves and explore our passion with great support from our teachers. Beside education, our teachers also guided us to live a successful life. I am also grateful to our department for providing me the opportunities to show my capabilities in Inter college contests organized by various Colleges and Institutes. I have gained a lot of confidence by attending those contests and feel very encouraged when recognized with awards.

"Textbooks can give you knowledge but you can have a great practical experience here. There are standard equipment's and teachers teach very well. Department is doing a great job of arranging online classes amidst this lock-down. Future care has also been taken by giving us a scope to write articles and learn how to write it. Giving us a scope to be a part of Inter College Competition is very much encouraged by the department. I feel privileged to be a part of Computer Science Department, Syamaprasad College because it has helped me explore more of myself and kept me motivated towards learning new things."

Being an alumni of Syamaprasad college, Computer Science Department, I take immense pride in saying that I studied and graduated from this college. The institute not only helped me shape my career and bring me to where I am today, but made me believe the statement "Don't judge a book by its cover". The pedagogy of Syamaprasad college, content of the curriculum, collaboration between students, practical projects are some traits what makes it different from other colleges offering same courses. Today I work as a Data Scientist in HSBC Bank, Kolkata which would have been impossible if the teachers of this college didn't made me believe that I can study Computer Science, as till 12 standard, I had no clue of what CS is all about. i had completed my Graduation i.e. B.Sc (Honours) in Computer Science in the year 2012 from this college. Department of Computer Science is a place where you can find an amalgamation of learning. I felt great studying as it gave us great opportunity as well as support from faculty members.
